Many of our clients live a very busy life with not much time or energy left at the end of a hard day to come home and organize. After some recent life changes, this client reached out to us to regain her storage and craft space located within the basement.
Starting with the storage space, organizer, Marianne, pulled everything off of the shelves, sorting like with like. Then working side by side with the client, they were able to go through and edit what was to be kept, donated or thrown away. After, everything was rehomed on the shelves that made most sense for the client and labelled clearly.
Afterwards, Marianne moved onto the other side and focused on the ‘craft room'.’ Having a well organized and less cluttered space can help get the creative juices flowing and easily allow you to find everything you are looking for when you are deep into a project.
Using materials the client already had, Marianne was able to completely transform this space and now the client has a calm and peaceful place to create and unwind.
