Back-to-college season is always a whirlwind, and Team Peace Professional Organizer Marianne stepped in to make one Harwich family’s life a whole lot easier.

Gwen’s priority was to sort and organize her two sons’ clothing so packing them up for college next week would be smooth and stress-free. At the start, everything—shirts, pants, sweats, socks—was jumbled together in drawers and on shelves, making it nearly impossible to keep track of what belonged to which son.

Marianne quickly devised a system:

Eldest son’s clothing → All the closet shelving, since he has larger clothing and more of it.
Younger son’s clothing → All the dresser drawers, sized down and perfectly proportioned for his needs.

To make the system even more foolproof, Marianne created custom labels for the tops of the drawers, so everyone in the household can instantly see where each item belongs. This simple, thoughtful touch made the organization easy to use—and easy to keep up.

With her remaining time, Marianne did a quick refresh of Gwen’s own closet, leaving it tidy and much easier to navigate. Gwen is planning to have us back at the end of the month to keep the momentum going.
