Storage Unit Consolidation in Yarmouth

Some projects begin with surprises. When we met Lisa at her storage unit in Yarmouth, we knew she wanted to downsize, but what we found was a unit that told a much bigger story.

Lisa had been renting a 15x25 unit — the same size as a one-car garage — packed completely full from floor to ceiling. The Work

Once we began, it became clear that many stored items had been damaged — after three years in non–climate-controlled storage, much was moldy or unusable. To help with the heavy lifting, we partnered with Garbage Gone, whose strong workers carefully removed and unscrambled the large pieces one by one.

As each item came out, Lisa made the decision: keep or let go. Kimberly and Debby provided steady encouragement, while Julie coordinated logistics. The Garbage Gone crew was patient and efficient, giving Lisa time while still keeping the process moving. Because Lisa stayed engaged the whole session, we were able to accomplish a major transformation in just one day.
