After living in a cluttered home for long enough, this client reached out to us for help getting her home back and wanted to surprise her husband just in time for his return from overseas. This was a multi-day project as many spaces within the home needed organization.
Starting with the kitchen, organizers Jennifer and Marianne removed everything from from the cabinets and countertops. Everything was staged on the dining room table where the client was very quick to make decisions regarding what to ‘keep, donate or throw away’. Using bins provided by Peaceful Place everything was put away in an organized manner and easily labelled for the client to see.
During the next two sessions, organizers Marianne and Patty spent a lot of time sorting through the client’s craft room. Talking with her, they were able to determine where and how she wanted everything stored. After feeling overwhelmed, the client wanted to shift gears from the yarn collection and focus on her clothes for a while which we were glad to accommodate! Ultimately, the craft room and closet within the craft room were organized by the end of day two and only a few manageable piles were left for the client to sort through.
A few weeks later when the client was ready to continue, organizers Bridget and Jennifer tackled her master bedroom. All we can say is wow, what a transformation!
